LAC MISSIONS

Missions is how we live out our faith beyond our walls—locally, globally, and together.

The world is full of people who have never experienced the hope of Jesus—and they shouldn’t face that alone.

Jesus calls His church to go—to make disciples, serve others, and bring hope to every nation. At Lewisburg Alliance Church, we believe missions isn’t something a few people do somewhere else; it’s something we participate in together.

We partner with local and global mission workers who are serving vulnerable, overlooked, and displaced people around the world.

Through prayer, financial support, relationships, and hands-on opportunities, we come alongside our mission partners so they can focus on sharing the gospel, meeting real needs, and building lasting impact in the communities they serve.

Our Mission Partners

We believe missions are most effective when they are relational and intentional. Our church partners with mission workers across the globe, and our small groups are directly connected to specific international workers—building personal relationships and supporting them through prayer, encouragement, and advocacy.
The O’Connor Family
The O’Connor family serves as international workers with the Christian and Missionary Alliance in Gabon, Central Africa, partnering with the ministry of Bongolo Hospital. Their work supports both the medical and spiritual mission of the hospital, helping provide compassionate healthcare while sharing the hope of Christ with patients and their families.

Through their service, the O’Connors partner with local believers and medical staff to care for physical needs and point people to the transforming love of Jesus. Their ministry reflects the Alliance’s commitment to bringing the gospel and practical help to communities around the world.

The Stine Family
Matt and Stephanie Stine serve with the Christian and Missionary Alliance through Envision in Clarkston, Georgia. They manage Envision Acres Farm, a ministry that serves the local refugee community by providing fresh food, job training, and relational outreach. Through agriculture and community engagement, the Stines help build relationships with people from many nations while sharing the hope of Jesus.
The Danneker Family

Ed and Sue Danneker serve as international workers with the Christian and Missionary Alliance in Thailand. Their ministry focuses on sharing the love of Christ and helping strengthen the local church through discipleship, leadership development, and community outreach.

They partner with Thai believers to build relationships, encourage growing churches, and help equip leaders to reach their communities with the gospel. Through their years of faithful service, the Dannekers have invested deeply in people and ministries throughout Thailand, seeking to see lives transformed by the hope of Jesus.

Her ministry focuses on supporting local churches and communities through relational outreach, discipleship, and practical service. She works alongside Cambodian believers to help strengthen the church and encourage spiritual growth.

Through building relationships and investing in people’s lives, Kandi seeks to share the hope of Jesus and help equip local believers to reach their communities with the gospel.

Pastor Joseph Moussa

We also work with Pastor Joseph Moussa and the Arabic Christian Church in Dover, PA. We always look forward to hearing from Pastor Joseph each year as he comes and shares of his most current mission trip to Syria. We are encouraged to be able to pray for him and to hear of all God is doing in the Middle East.

We are also privileged to help support their Annual church conference that sees people come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ each year and is heard by millions around the world by satellite TV.

Short-Term Mission Partnerships

We also provide opportunities for short-term mission trips, often to locations where our mission partners already serve.

These trips are designed to support long-term ministry, build relationships, and give participants a firsthand look at how God is working around the world.

Lewisburg Alliance Church helps fund these trips so more people can take part in God’s mission.

Café Jiwa in Taiwan. Café Jiwa was started by Nathan and Laura Conklin. Through the café and outreach into the community, they support and share the love of Jesus with the immigrant Indonesian people of Taiwan. Along with our prayers we send monthly financial support. We also will be sending short-term mission teams to Taiwan to help with projects as we can and as they have need.

Paradise Mountain in Tocca, Georgia, is a home away from home for third culture kids as they move to the States to attend college or learn a trade. Paradise Mountain provides a home for these kids as their parents are still actively serving as missionaries overseas. Lewisburg Alliance Church has a food drive with other area churches to help provide food for the students throughout the year. We also send short-term mission teams to help with different projects as needed.
