Walking into new spaces isn’t easy
Once inside the doors, our church is quite easy to navigate. Come a little early to help yourself to some complimentary refreshments served in the main worship center and then pick out a seat. The Kid’s Kiosk is on the right side of the lobby and there will be a volunteer there to help you sign your kids in if you desire.
Everything is easily accessible and well marked, hopefully making a first-time visit as painless as possible.
Things you can expect
What’s a Sunday like?
As you drive onto the property you will first see our Youth & Children’s Center on your left. As you come further up the drive you will see the main parking lot and then the Worship Center (which is at the far end of that lot.) Find a space to park and come on in. Our service starts right at 10:15 am.
For Adults
A host will step up, welcome everyone and give a few ministry updates and announcements. Following prayer, we stand again and sing two or three more songs. The worship music is a contemporary style often with some more traditional hymns mixed in.
After the music our lead pastor, Pastor Dave Muckel comes to share a sermon. His style is conversational and engaging with practical teaching and inspiration from the Bible.
Following this sermon, the worship team sends us out with another song.
Services are one hour and fifteen minutes and end at 11:30 am.
We have a fun and uplifting Kid’s program that takes place at the same time as the adult service. (No Sunday School before services.)
If you desire to check your kids in then you can come by the Kid’s kiosk in the main lobby when you arrive and a volunteer will help you. Then you will be directed to take your kids next door to the Kid’s Ministry Center where another volunteer will greet you and help your kids to join right in.
After service you will head back to the Kid’s Ministry Center and pick up your kids right where you dropped them off. The kids have a mix of activities to enjoy throughout the morning including interactive worship songs, learning from the Bible, snacks and crafts from well-trained, loving teachers and younger youth helpers.
Younger youth (3rd-5th graders) will get signed in before the service, then stay with their parents during the first half of the service.
When the worship music is done and the sermon begins, these 3rd-5th graders can head upstairs to have a special class just for them. (An announcement will scroll across the front screen when this happens.) A volunteer will be standing in the foyer to help them head up the stairs located off each side of the lobby.
For Youth
Youth in grades 6-12 are invited to worship with us at our Sunday morning services.
As you get comfortable and become more active within our church, there are opportunities for youth to serve on the Tech Team, Worship Team, or Children’s Ministry Team.
Youth in grades 6-12 are welcome back on Sunday evenings from 6-8 p.m. in the youth room.
